This summer I had the pleasure of seeing my first real-life DeTomaso Pantera. This is a 1971 model, and it was in beautiful condition. I’ve always maintained that the italian exotics of the 1970s and 1980s have some truly great-looking rear-ends, and this Pantera is testament to that. Taking photos of cars also prove an interesting challenge. Even though they’re mostly stationary, they’re also quite large and difficult to angle in a pleasing way.
This is also one of the most heavily edited photos I’ve published, and has been tweaked in virtually every way. Various Lightroom-tweaks, and in Photoshop I added a bit of blur as well as crudely censoring the license-plate. I still hope it’s enjoyable for your viewing pleasure.
