This budding growth was found on some bushes a bit away from my apartment. Spring is rapidly approaching after a very cold and slow start, and the buds are popping out almost like popcorn. It was a difficult day to take photos due to the wind and the shifting lighting. One minute it was sunny, the other it was gray and overcast.
