Photos and words by Petter Senften

Shooting concerts was fun but incredibly challenging. Constantly changing lighting conditions, smoke and haze, subjects who were unwilling to stand still – the list goes on.

I think I made some decent shots. This is of a band called Ninedee. They were playing some kind of hard-edged and intense industrial/metal type hybrid. Fairly decent although not quite my cup of tea.

Also, it felt good having the weight of my normal DSLR back in my hands. The trusty 35-70/2.8 workhorse was as usual the best tool for the job.
