Golden Glow

So I had a weekend in Berlin. Great fun! Didn’t have the possibility to bring a lot of gear so I traveled light with my 35-70/2.8 and a 50/1.8 for backup. Nothing more. No tripod, nothing. Add to this the limitations of traveling in group which kept me from wandering off on my own too much. Still, a few shots turned out nice.

This is the dome of the Berliner Dom. We were admiring it’s impressive size and the light shifted. The golden spire and cross was illuminated in a very interesting way. This shot has been edited to enhance that effect – it wasn’t quite that dark but I decided to make the image a bit more dramatic in post!
